The Viola welcome the defending champions to the Stadio Artemio Franchi on Friday night, aiming to stop them going top of Serie A.
“We’re preparing the match in the best way and it’s a crucial one for our journey,” Benassi explained to Sky.
“Right now we’re still missing a win against a big team, we want to find a consistency in positive results after the win over Bologna.
“Of course, it’s like a derby for me and I hope to give my contribution to achieving a positive result.
“I’m missing goals, I’ve always been a midfielder who is able to score regularly, so I hope I can break my duck in this one. I’ve never scored against Juventus, so I hope Friday is the right time.
“We respect Juventus, but Fiorentina have always been able to express our qualities and have our say, and we can do it against [Max] Allegri’s team too.”
