“Now with Torino, we’re all working hard to qualify for the Europa League. After that, over time, maybe we’ll achieve more. I feed off dreams and I’m never happy.
“My best goal for Torino? The one against Sassuolo this season, it’s the one I like the most.
“Rapport with Mihaljovic? Extraordinary, he’s the first to believe in us and he conveys that faith every day.
“He’s also still good with the ball at his feet. I saw him take some free kicks during our ‘ritiro’…
“Italy? We were all very sad, as were the Italians. I felt bitterness right away and saw teammates crying in the changing rooms. Others will have done so once they got home.
“How can Italian football bounce back? By everyone sticking together, the federation, staff, CT, players: this has always been the strength of Italy.
“Will I watch the World Cup? Yes, but I won’t support anyone. I’m Italian.
“Milan on Sunday? It’ll be tough, it always is when you play at San Siro. We know that Milan have also bought some top players this year.
“Still, when there are so many new arrivals, the Coach needs time to develop the team’s style of play.
“My €100m release clause? I don’t feel any more pressure.”
