Valon Behrami has refused to make excuses for Napoli’s loss at Juventus on the weekend, and admits that he just wants to move on.

The Partenopei went down 3-0 in Turin on Sunday, and the Swiss midfielder has conceded that Fernando Llorente’s opening goal – which looked offside – wasn’t to blame.

“In football you can’t make excuses,” he told Sky Sport Italia. “Sometimes there are game where you do everything, but you can’t win.

“We lost the game, but we have to move forward now. We’re not looking for excuses.

“We have to be professional and not enter into these sort of discussions.”
