Bild suggest that Bayern Munich will not call up Benjamin Pavard for their clash with Augsburg as Inter anxiously wait to complete the deal.

The report details how the 27-year-old French right back is trying hard to leave the Bavarian giants and has been on strike this week, missing their last three training sessions due to his desire to depart.

Bayern have been insistent that they want a replacement ready before they sign off on the sale of Pavard, but Inter’s deadline of August 29 is fast approaching, and all parties are keen to finalise proceedings.

The German side have identified Chelsea’s Trevoh Chalobah and Feyenoord’s Lutsharel Geertruida as their top two replacements, and once one of them is chosen then things can move forward.

Inter will pay Bayern €30m plus €2m in add-ons for Pavard, who will earn around €5m net per season in the Lombardy capital. The only thing remaining now is Bayern’s green light.
