Inter are working to replace Andre Onana with Yann Sommer and Bayern Munich have reportedly made their position clear.

The Nerazzurri are in the process of finalising the sale of the Cameroonian goalkeeper to Manchester United, who will pay around €50m plus add-ons for the 27-year-old, representing a huge capital gain for the Italian side.

Inter have already identified their primary targets to replace Onana and Samir Handanovic – Sommer and Shakhtar Donetsk’s Anatoliy Trubin.

As reported by Gianluca Di Marzio, Sommer has agreed to join Inter and is keen on the idea of a move, but Bayern Munich have made it clear that they won’t offer any discounts on the 34-year-old.

The Bavarian giants won’t accept anything less than his €6m release clause. The Nerazzurri are still hoping to negotiate a lower fee, but would be willing to pay the clause should an agreement not arrive this week.

Onana’s move to Manchester United is expected to be made official in the coming days, once he has been given a visa.
