Lautaro Martinez had opened the scoring at Camp Nou within three minutes, but they didn’t take their other first half chances and a Luis Suarez brace turned it around.
“We came here to play, the Coach told us that, and we wanted to win. We tried to fight back after the equaliser and conceded at the other end.
“It’s disappointing, but we have another big game coming up and will start to focus on that,” the midfielder told Sky Sport Italia.
Inter dominated for almost an hour, but ran out of steam and the game changed when Arturo Vidal replaced Sergio Busquets.
“We proved our character and put in a strong performance, but it’s always disappointing when we leave with no points. We are Inter, we’ve got Conte on the bench, so we want to win every game.”
