New signing Ever Banega “had no doubts” about joining Inter, despite “other offers”.
The Argentine international has joined the Nerazzurri on a free transfer from Sevilla, and was officially presented to the media today.
“Everyone wants to play for a big club like Inter,” Banega told reporters in the Press conference.
“My head was for this club, even though there were other offers. I had no doubts.

“Could I have come to Italy before? Only to Inter, but we couldn’t finalise it. Now, finally, I’m here.
“The Champions League is definitely our objective, we’ll do our best. I don’t want to make promises, but we’ll give everything.”
Banega was then asked about his role in the team, with some suggesting he could play in a regista role.
“The Coach [Frank de Boer] will decide. Throughout my career I’ve played in different positions, the important thing is to help the team. I’ll play where I’m needed.
“I’m a player with personality and I definitely like to have the ball at my feet. I know the Italian League is very tactical.”
