“We can still improve in the style of football and how we hold the ball, being more aggressive without possession and start pressing opponents in their own half,” said Ballardini.
“We are all convinced that we have the potential to do well. The squad is not lacking pace, strength, quality, professionalism and motivation. Genoa have the technical and moral qualities needed to be in charge of their own destiny.”
This is a relegation dogfight, as Palermo are propping up the table with just 19 points, while Genoa are fourth-from-bottom on 25.
