Roma director Mauro Baldissoni said they’ve no intention of losing Kostas Manolas, who is “involved in contract renegotiations.”
The centre-back is wanted by Inter, Chelsea and Arsenal, among other top clubs.
“Manolas is an excellent player and it’s only natural that other clubs are paying attention to him,” Baldissoni told Mediaset Premium.
“We know that he is a great defender and are therefore not happy to lose them. Manolas is also involved in contract renegotiations. So far nobody has asked us for Manolas.

“At times there are financial issues to face, but at the moment there are no problems in that sense. Of course, what the player wants also has an effect.”
Luciano Spalletti said he would “kick up a fuss if the club sold Manolas to tuck the cash away under the mattress.” Is that the case?
“Absolutely not. If you look at our balance sheet, you’ll realise that.”
Do Roma need reinforcements during the January transfer window?
“Only if it really is a reinforcement. If there are opportunities to improve the squad, we will take them. However, anyone who joins this team has to know their spot is not guaranteed. We’ll only make a move if it’s useful.”
