Milan Badelj is expected to leave Fiorentina, but “wants to remain in Italy and Roma are a very interesting side,” said his agent.
The Croatia international midfielder has also been linked with Liverpool after impressive Euro 2016 performances.
“The player has another two years left on his contract with Fiorentina, so any questions should be aimed at them first,” agent Dejan Joksimovic told Rete Sport.

“There are at least three or four European clubs tracking him, but it all depends on Fiorentina. The plan right now is to wait until after the Euros.
“Milan has really proved himself in these three games with Croatia and obviously Fiorentina won’t be losing money if they sell.”
Roma Coach Luciano Spalletti publicly praised Badelj and put his side at the forefront of any transfer race, although Liverpool and Atletico Madrid are also interested.
“There are many clubs interested, not just Roma. It all depends on Fiorentina, as either they sell him now or next summer. We’ll wait, but I think this is the right moment to part ways.
“Italy is a country he loves a great deal, especially as it is very close to Croatia. Serie A is a great tournament with great players in it.
“I don’t think he is interested in playing for a club like Atletico Madrid, even if they have done well in recent years. I believe Milan wants to remain in Italy.
“Roma are a very interesting side with one of the best Coaches in Italy at this moment. So far I haven’t spoken to Roma or other teams, as we are waiting for the end of the Euros.
“I respect Fiorentina. I believe he will 90 per cent remain in Italy. At this moment Fiorentina are not a big club, because I do not see them investing in the squad and I doubt they’ll qualify for the Champions League soon.
“Will he stay at Fiorentina this season? I say it’s 50-50, but we’re 90 per cent sure not to sign a new contract with them.”
