The President of Atletico Madrid insists the Spanish champions will not settle for a draw in tonight’s match with Juventus.
A draw would see Atleti progress as group winners, while the Bianconeri would also qualify for the Last 16 as runner-up. Even a one goal defeat would allow Diego Simeone’s side to win the group, with Juventus needing a two-goal winning margin to win Group A.
“Tonight will be a great game,” Atletico President Enrique Cerezo told assembled media as he met his Juventus counterpart for lunch in Turin.

“It’s true that even a one goal defeat would give us first place on goal difference, but the only thing that would give us peace of mind is to win.
“Last year we were undefeated until the final [when they lost to Real Madrid], this year we lost our first game [away to Olympiacos], we’re hoping not to lose any more.”
