“We deserve this position,” Astori told Gazzetta dello Sport.
“Now we have to take the last step to become a great team.
“Are there stronger teams? Yes, four or five, but we can beat them and get ahead.

Astori was also asked what he’d like to give Fiorentina fans as a Christmas present.
“On December 13 we play Juve in Turin. I think they’d appreciate a win at Juventus Stadium?”
