The former Siena striker hinted he was unhappy at the current situation at the Stadio Olimpico.
“Did I expect to play more? These are decisions made by the Coach, then obviously I have my own mind that I consider things with and slowly I’ll take decisions too.”
Meanwhile, The Mirror also insists that Manchester United won’t let go of their plans to sign Strootman in January.
The Dutch midfielder made his first start in nine months during yesterday’s 2-2 draw with Sassuolo and looked decidedly rusty after knee ligament surgery.
According to The Mirror’s report, Manchester United fear they will have to pay double if Roma progress to the Champions League knockouts at the expense of Manchester City.
They are prepared to pay £30m for 24-year-old Strootman.
