Former Spain manager Luis Aragones warns “it will be difficult” against Italy in their Euro 2012 opener on Sunday.
The Azzurri begin Group C at 17.00 UK time tomorrow in Gdansk, watched by UEFA President Michel Platini, Italy President of the Republic Giorgio Napolitano and former Juventus star Zibi Boniek.
“It will be difficult against the Azzurri. Let’s not forget they have won four World Cups,” Aragones told RMC Radio.
“They are a side with important players and a strong midfield. People talk about Spain as favourites, but we must also keep a close eye on Italy.”
