Milan defender Luca Antonini has claimed a win in the Derby della Madonnina this weekend will mean everything to him.
The 30-year-old full-back grew up as a supporter of the Rossoneri and has waxed lyrical about the importance of gaining three points against Inter on Sunday.
“The derby is always an important game,” he told the Milan Channel. “But especially for us this time around. We are starting to improve our performances and are getting to the level we want to be at.
“Milan and these colours are everything to me. I have always adored the club, when I was a fan, and even more now that I am a player.”
Antonini also confirmed that, although he only partook in half of Friday’s training, he will be fit for the Derby.
“I had a small twinge from the game against Zenit, so I preferred to only do some of the session. It's ok though, I'll be fine.”
