Giancarlo Antognoni has been impressed by the improvements of Roma’s Pablo Daniel Osvaldo since his struggles at Fiorentina.
The Argentine-born striker scored just five goals in 21 games over one and a half seasons in Florence, but he’s now a recognised Italian international.
“Osvaldo has matured,” the Viola legend told Centro Suono Sport ahead of this weekend’s game between the two clubs.
“His time in Spain allowed him to attain a security in front of goal,” he added of the former Espanyol and Bologna hitman.
“He is a striker who many clubs would want, he scores goals, sometimes impossible ones. He now has the personality that he didn’t have as a youngster.”
The 26-year-old, who left the Tuscan outfit in January 2009, has seven goals in 10 League games for Roma so far this season.
