Chievo Verona’s Marco Andreolli is expected to put pen to paper on a contract with Inter by the end of this month.
The 26-year-old is available to talk to other clubs seeing as his contract at the Stadio Bentegodi expires in June.
The defender will thus leave the Flying Donkeys on a free transfer and Inter have won the race for his signature.
Andreolli’s agent Patrick Bastianelli met with Inter officials on Wednesday to discuss a four-year contract worth €1m a season for his client.
The former Italian Under-21 international, two goals in 16 League games this season, already has an Inter past.
He was signed by their youth system in 2003. He joined Roma in 2007 as part of the deal that saw Cristian Chivu arrive.
