Leandro Castan has urged Roma to confirm Aurelio Andreazzoli as their Coach for the 2013-14 campaign.
Andreazzoli replaced Zdenek Zeman in February and the club, according to the 26-year-old, are benefitting.
“So many things are different,” he told Leggo when asked about what went wrong under Zeman. “Now the Coach speaks with the players. Now there is harmony.
“Zeman didn’t say a single word to me in six months. Andreazzoli, from the first day, asked me what I liked and what I didn’t.
“If you come and watch us train now then you realise just how different it is from before. All the players train more confidently.
“And, in games, you can see we play every match like a Final.”
Andreazzoli was only thought to be a short-term replacement until the summer, but his side have picked up four wins, a draw and a loss from his six games in charge.
“I’m rooting for Andreazzoli to stay,” the centre-back continued. “He’s a great guy and a good Coach. You don’t win games by chance in Serie A. We are now a more compact and balanced side.”
Roma are presently fifth in the standings and will travel to Palermo on Saturday.
