Aurelio Andreazzoli felt Roma deserved a penalty in an ill-tempered Milan draw and assured his future “is very clear.”

The Giallorossi’s hopes of reaching the Europa League are hanging by a thread after the 0-0 at San Siro this evening, though they could qualify via the Coppa Italia Final.

“We lacked the quality to finish Milan off, as we didn’t have clear ideas in the second half and struggled to express our quality at the most important moment,” said the Coach.

The Rossoneri played the entire second half with 10 men, as Sulley Muntari saw red for manhandling the referee.

Francesco Totti followed in stoppages for lashing out an elbow on his former teammate Philippe Mexes.

“Totti is friends with Mexes, so I think he didn’t realise who it was behind him. He was dragged back two or three times and lost his cool.

“It was a shame to see Muntari sent off too, because it would’ve been better for all of us to play to our best. I wanted it to be a real test ahead of the Coppa Italia Final with Lazio.

“I didn’t see the incident with Kevin Constant, but my players told me it was a clear penalty. It was close to the goalline referee, so I expect he had a good view.”

Andreazzoli was appointed interim manager when Zdenek Zeman was fired in February, but doubts remain over whether he’ll remain in the job next season.

“My future is very clear. The club asked me to lend a hand and I was happy to do that. Now we want to complete the campaign with the Coppa Italia Final, then the club will decide what to do.”
