Real Madrid Coach Carlo Ancelotti says goalkeeper Diego Lopez was not forced out of the club and chose to leave himself.
The shot-stopper recently joined Milan after Los Blancos signed Keylor Navas to provide competition for club legend Iker Casillas.
“He chose to leave,” Ancelotti told reporters in the build up to his team’s Spanish Super Cup match with Atletico Madrid.
“Nobody got rid of him. He was looking for a new opportunity and a new team.”
