The experienced tactician coached the Rossoneri to two victories in Europe’s premier club competition during his time at San Siro.
“Anything is possible but it will not be easy,” Ancelotti said to Sky Sport ahead of tonight’s Round of 16 second leg.
“Atletico Madrid at home with the help of their fans can be a very determined outfit.
“They are a very organised team who are very good at on the counter-attack after winning back possession.
“Milan must use the ball well and with intelligence to avoid exposing themselves too much.”
