Sofyan Amrabat confirmed to Dutch television that his summer move from Hellas Verona to Napoli is “almost complete,” but a decision hasn’t yet been made.
“There are a lot of teams interested in me, including some big clubs,” the 23-year-old said on Fox Sports Netherlands this morning.
“The Napoli deal is almost complete, but I’m trying to stay away from it all. I want to spend some time with my family in Holland now, but I do have to make a decision soon.”

There had already been multiple reports throughout Italy that the two clubs had agreed a deal worth €16m plus bonuses.
He cannot make the move in January, because the midfielder already played some competitive games this season with Club Brugge, so can’t represent three clubs in one term.
Hellas Verona took Amrabat on loan from Brugge with option to buy for €3.5m, which naturally they will activate after a great opening six months in Serie A.
Napoli decided to dive in early to prevent Inter getting there first.
