Several of the 'senators' who left the club this summer have since criticised Allegri for his style of management, Gennaro Gattuso among them.
“People make decisions, and I have been clear with everyone,” the tactician is quoted as saying by MilanNews.it.
“The things that have been said between me and the players that have left are things that only we know about.
“Some probably find me unfriendly because I tell people things directly to their face, and I want others to do the same to me.
“This is the type of relationship I want to have. Anyway these are discussions that belong in the past, and I am only focused on doing well with my current group of players.”
The former Cagliari Boss also expressed his opinion on new signing Bojan, who could make his first Diavolo start against Atalanta.
“I expect a lot from Bojan, it is a very important year for him. He has already played many times for Barcelona, but this season with Milan is fundamental for him.”
The 22-year-old Spaniard is expected to start alongside Stephan El Shaarawy at San Siro on Saturday.
