Massimiliano Allegri was pleased to have Arturo Vidal back and has “blind faith” in Juventus after a mixed Trofeo TIM.
The Bianconeri lost the first mini-match 1-0 to Milan, but beat Sassuolo 1-0 with a Roberto Pereyra goal.
“Condition needs to be improved, but we worked hard over the last few days after the tour of Asia,” Allegri told Sport Mediaset.
“We created several scoring opportunities and against Milan conceded an avoidable goal. There’s a lot to improve, but we are on the right track.
“The important thing is that Vidal is fit and it’s the first 45 minutes he has played this season.”
The Coach was asked about transfer strategy following the declaration Vidal is not on the market.
“I am fully in sync with the club and have blind faith in them. I know if there’s an opportunity to improve this squad, they will.”
