Alejandro Camaño confirms Lautaro Martinez will sign a contract extension with Inter and that Gonzalo Villar doesn’t want to leave Roma.
Martinez has agreed to extend his stay at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza beyond 2023. “We made him happy, his family and he always wanted to stay at Inter,” the striker’s agent told FcInternews.it.
Lautaro had been linked with moves to Arsenal and Atletico Madrid, but the Serie A champions will soon announce his contract extension.
Lautaro, 24, joined Inter from Racing Club in 2018 in a €25m deal. He has scored 50 goals in 133 appearances with the Nerazzurri.
According to Calciomercato.com, Lautaro will sign a new €6m-a-year deal until June 2025.
Camaño is also the agent of Roma midfielder Gonzalo Villar who was a regular starter under Paulo Fonseca last term.
The Spaniard is not in José Mourinho’s plans at the Stadio Olimpico, but the 23-year-old doesn’t want to leave the capital with his contract expiring in June 2024.
“He wants to play for Roma and be part of a team that will be successful this season,” his agent claimed.
Villar, 23, joined Roma from Elche in January 2020 for a reported €4m fee.
