Salvatore Sirigu’s agent “really hopes it’s true” that Napoli are interested in the PSG goalkeeper, now on loan at Sevilla.
The Italy international has barely featured over the last season and a half, including after his temporary switch to Spain.
“Are Napoli interested? I really hope it’s true, as he is an exceptional Italian goalkeeper,” agent Carlo Pallavicino told Radio CRC.

“Are Napoli interested? I really hope it’s true, as he is an exceptional Italian goalkeeper,” agent Carlo Pallavicino told Radio CRC.
“He did really well in Paris before Laurent Blanc put him on the sidelines for no particular reason. He was voted top Ligue 1 goalkeeper many times, so it’s truly absurd to see him on the bench.
“In Italy there are many foreign goalkeepers who aren’t as good as Sirigu. Along with Gigi Buffon and Gianluigi Donnarumma, he’s one of the best Italian goalkeepers.
“A transfer to Napoli would be a good idea, both for Serie A and the Nazionale.”
However, if Sirigu were to join Napoli, it would be as understudy to current Number 1 Pepe Reina.
