Emanuele Giaccherini’s agent says his client is “completely available” to Napoli, and hits back at Aurelio De Laurentiis.
Giaccherini joined the Partenopei from Sunderland this summer, but has played just 19 minutes so far as he has been struggling back from an injury.
“Emanuele is fine at last, he’s ready to play,” Furio Valcareggi assured on Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli.

“Emanuele is fine at last, he’s ready to play,” Furio Valcareggi assured on Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli.
“We know that playing will be difficult, but now he’s completely available to [Coach Maurizio] Sarri and he can really help the team. He’ll have to create doubts for the Coach.
“The Coach strongly backed him in negotiations, where there was incredible appreciation.”
Club President Aurelio De Laurentiis described agents as “the cancer of our domain” yesterday, how does Valcareggi react to that?
“I’m a little bit disappointed by De Laurentiis’ words. I could also tell you about cancerous Presidents. We agents are good people, you’ve got to be balanced.
“Giulio Marinelli and myself have behaved the same way for 20 years, so I don’t accept being told that we’re the cancer of football. I don’t know if everyone is good in the field of film producers…
“In the negotiations [for Giaccherini] we went to Naples to show how much we wanted this club. I don’t have a problem with De Laurentiis, having a President like him is an incredible stroke of luck.
“I’d just like him to say: ‘there are also good agents, who get on with their job’.”
