Jose Callejon’s agent admits that while the forward could sign a new contract with Napoli, their opening offer ‘didn’t satisfy the player.’
Callejon is one of the most successful foreign players in Napoli’s history, repaying their €10m investment in 2013 with 79 goals, 70 assists and a Coppa Italia, as well as playing a key role in their revival as a Serie A force.
However, the Spaniard turns 33 in February and his current deal expires at the end of the season.

“He can sign a new contract, but we don’t want to mess about,” Manuel Garcia Quilon told CalcioNapoli24.
“Napoli haven’t called me for a month. I suppose we’ll hear from them again, now that the transfer window has shut.
“They made us an opening offer, but it didn’t satisfy the conditions of the player.”
