The goalkeeper’s current contract expires in June and this week he formally told the club that he will not sign a renewal.
Neto is also resisting attempts to sell in January, as he insisted the main reason was to autonomously choose his future rather than any economic considerations.

“I was profoundly hurt by this situation, leaving a very bitter taste in the mouth,” Della Valle told news agency ANSA.
“I know full well that these situations happen often in football, but it’s still hard to accept.”
Neto will be able to leave Fiorentina as a free agent over the summer.
Coach Vincenzo Montella also spoke of "bitterness" around Neto's behaviour.
