Aurelio De Laurentiis believes “many teams” can fight for the Scudetto, not just Napoli and Juventus.

“There are many teams that can fight to the end,” Vesuviani President De Laurentiis insisted, speaking to Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli.
“That’s not a weakness of Serie A, because every team has strengthened. From the fourth weekend of the season, Napoli have never stopped, not even in Europe.
“We went out of the Coppa Italia, but it’s difficult to fight for the treble. The club is working with the diligence and application which is synonymous with a great love for this team and this city.”
The patron was also asked about the transfer market, with only Alberto Grassi having signed so far this window.
“When you say this window hasn’t brought a top player like I promised, you’re wrong. I said to my staff: ‘there’s money available, and enough for a top player’.
“But if the other teams we’re dealing with – who are top clubs – don’t want to sell then we can’t do anything.
“And then if we buy a top player do we put him on the bench for this irresistible Napoli? Or do we take out some of the lads who have been doing so well?
“It’s hard to keep the balance, [sporting director Cristiano] Giuntoli and [managing director Andrea] Chievelli are working well.
“Two players will arrive who are functional for our project. And who says we haven’t already contacted a player for July?”
