Napoli President Aurelio De Laurentiis believes the club has “maybe even too many” players on the books.
The Partenopei patron was presenting his new film, Benedetta Follia, this afternoon and journalists took the chance to ask him about the January transfer market.
“For the moment I’m only thinking about this film which will make you die laughing,” De Laurentiis replied.
“In the next two weeks I’ll be doing interviews with newspapers and television, so it’s better not to do anything early.

“We have a lot of players, maybe even too many, but I can’t say anything beyond that.”
De Laurentiis was also asked about Benevento, given the bottom side are also from Campania and Napoli have been linked with Amato Ciciretti.
“I respect their President [Oreste Vigorito], at the start of the season I even suggested that they buy [Leonardo] Pavoletti.
“It was me who called him, we’re neighbours, Campanians.
“He told me he wanted to think about it, a few days went past and in the end we did a deal with Cagliari.”
