Leading goalscorer Dovbyk misses out through illness, while Pellegrini is out with a minor injury concern in his foot.

Juric needs nothing less than a win and a convincing performance from his Giallorossi players if he wants to alleviate any of the mounting pressure on his job security. Reports earlier in the week suggest that the tactician could be sacked if Roma record a third consecutive league defeat.

Torino, meanwhile, start with an attacking pair of Che Adams and Antonio Sanabria again, following the long-term injury to Duvan Zapata. Teenage goalscorer Alieu Njie could be introduced from the substitutes’ bench.

Kick-off is due at 19.45 GMT.
