Italian newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport highlights the five most disappointing Milan players this season, including France star Theo Hernandez.
The Rossoneri have had a tough start to the season and currently sit 8th in the Serie A table with 14 points and a game in hand.
Rafael Leao has been in the spotlight having started the last two league matches on the bench, but Gazzetta names five players who have been even more disappointing than the Portuguese so far this season.

Having already conceded 11 goals in nine games, it’s probably unsurprising to see four defenders in this list.
Malick Thiaw, Fikayo Tomori, Theo Hernandez and Emerson Royal all have an average player rating below 6/10 on Gazzetta.
Thiaw has only made four appearances in Serie A this term but has the lower average rating at 5.38. Emerson Royal and Tomori are just above, with 5.44 and 5.66, respectively.
Theo has two goals and two assists in seven matches but still had a troubled start, snubbing a cooling break in an away Serie A game at Lazio in August and getting a straight red against Fiorentina after the final whistle earlier this month.
Last but not least is Ruben Loftus-Cheek, who has an average player rating of 5.7 and hasn’t yet scored or assisted for the Diavoli in Serie A this term.

Theo 5.7
Loftus-Cheek 5.7
I have no idea how they’ve included Thiaw. Played brilliantly vs Udinese and didn’t put a food wrong vs Napoli.
I’m though glad that the world is finally seeing Tomori for what he is – regrettably for Milan, 2 seasons too late.
As for Emerson and Loftus cheek – the less said the better.
