Chiesa missed Liverpool’s last three games due to an unspecified injury. He was expected to return this past weekend, against Chelsea, but he was not in the Reds’ squad.

Chiesa made his Liverpool debut in September when Liverpool won 3-1 over Milan at San Siro in the Champions League.

A few days later, he provided his first assist for the Premier League giants in his first and only game as a starter against West Ham in the EFL Cup. In that match, Chiesa was deployed as a right winger.

As reported by Sofascore, Chiesa still hasn’t had successful dribbling at Liverpool this season.

The former Juventus winger has signed a contract until June 2028 at Anfield.

2 thought on “What happened to Chiesa at Liverpool?”
  1. Possibly the worst club he could’ve moved to. Their forward line is stacked with players who are far more intelligent and well rounded than Chiesa. Even if fit, others have to be unavailable for him to start games. Poorly advised more.

  2. Honestly, it’s the best club he could have moved to
Liverpool, for the exact reason you state, that the forward line are amazing, are the perfect club for him because he isn’t under any pressure to play
This gives him time to firstly, get fit and strong, and secondly to manage his playing time to find his best form again
There are also more than enough games via four cups for him to be introduced in small bouts for his safety
Moreover, Liverpool fans are such a loyal bunch, as long as a player tries his best, they will support him through thick and thin, You’ll Never Walk Alone means something
