Federico Dimarco’s spectacular volley for Italy against France helped make the Inter wingback a potential transfer target for Bayern Munich, claim reports.

The 26-year-old hit a scorching finish at Parc des Prince in the 3-1 Nations League victory on Friday evening, his third goal in 23 senior caps.

He was also a key player in Simone Inzaghi’s Scudetto-winning run last season.

Dimarco has caught the eye of Bayern Munich

According to Calciomercato.com, this has all helped him become one of the main candidates for Bayern Munich should they lose Alphonso Davies for free to Real Madrid next summer.

Dimarco is under contract with Inter until June 2027 and currently earns circa €4m per season net.

He is a lifelong supporter of the Nerazzurri and grew up in their youth academy, so he is hoping to become a symbol of the club in future.

It is not the first time that Bayern Munich have been linked with an Inter star, as they had also approached Hakan Calhanoglu a few months ago.
