Lorenzo Insigne might not be called up for Italy again, but he proved he’s still got it with a trademark curler for Toronto FC in MLS.

The former Napoli captain cut inside from the left and placed the right-foot finish with a wicked bend into the far top corner.

It has been his trademark for many years now and is almost predictable, yet there still seems to be very little that opposition teams can do to prevent it.

It became such a classic in Naples that they even created a portmanteau word to describe this finish: tiraggir – mashing together ‘tiro a giro’, the Italian for a curler.
