England international Harry Kane denies Jamie Carragher called him before Bayern Munich game against Lazio on Tuesday: ‘We are friends, but I am not going to lie on national TV.’

Kane joined the CBS Sports crew after scoring a brace in a 3-0 Champions League win over Lazio on Tuesday night. The victory helped the Bavarians qualify for the quarter-finals, eliminating the Biancocelesti.

His post-match interview was hilarious, as the England striker exposed CBS pundit Carragher, who claimed he had called the experienced striker before the match.

“That is false,” Kane admitted, sparking laughter from Micah Richards and Thierry Henry.

“I am telling everyone in America that we are friends, that we’ve got a great relationship. I can’t believe you have just done that to me!” said Carragher smiling, so Kane replied: “We are friends but I am not going to lie on national TV!”
