Ivan Ilic probably intended to cross rather than score, but still did enough to give Torino a point against Udinese.
The Granata had Raoul Bellanova suspended, Karol Linetty and Perr Schuurs injured. As for the Friulani, Martin Payero sat out his ban, with Jaka Bijol, Gerard Deulofeu, Brenner, Vivaldo Semedo, Enzo Ebosse, Keinan Davis and David Pejicic sidelined.
Marco Silvestri used his legs to parry a Nikola Vlasic angled drive, while Lorenzo Lucca aimed a couple of headers off target from promising positions.
Ivan Ilic tested Silvestri from distance with a snapshot and an acrobatic Lucca bicycle-kick was off target.
Duvan Zapata out-jumped Kristensen only to graze his head to the Valentino Lazaro cross, but Udinese took the lead late on.
Joao Ferreira whipped in a cross from the right and Oier Zarraga got between Ilic and Adrien Tameze for the cushioned volley off the inside of the boot from six yards, his first ever Serie A goal.
Torino were able to equalise in dramatic fashion and most likely accidental too, because Ilic looked as if he was trying to put a cross into the box, got it very wrong and it looped over Silvestri into the far top corner.
Torino 1-1 Udinese
Zarraga 81 (U), Ilic 88 (T)
