Former Juventus defender Giorgio Chiellini will reportedly return to Continassa today, meeting coach Massimiliano Allegri and some of his ex-teammates.
The 39-year-old announced his retirement last week and has now returned to Turin, where he will decide on the next chapter of his professional life.
According to Wednesday’s printed edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport, page five, Chiellini will meet Allegri and Juventus players at Continassa today.
The report claims the 39-year-old could also meet club directors to discuss a potential return to the club.
It is no secret that Chiellini, who graduated in business administration at the University of Turin, would love to return to the Allianz Stadium as a director, and today could be his first chance to discuss the next steps with the club’s executives.
His brother Claudio is already working at the club as the Head of Next Gen Area.
Chiellini won nine consecutive Serie A titles at Juventus, collecting 561 appearances during his 17-year spell in Turin.
