Atalanta will be fighting to secure a top place finish in Group D of the Europa League when they host Sporting CP this evening.

The match between la Dea and the Portuguese outfit kicks off at 17.45 UK time at the Gewiss Stadium in Bergamo.

Atalanta currently sit top of their group after four games, picking up 10 points from three wins and a draw. Their first meeting with Sporting saw Gian Piero Gasperini’s side secure a 2-1 victory in Lisbon.

La Dea are without Jose Luis Palomino, El Bilal Toure, Charles De Ketelaere and Rafael Toloi, all sidelined with injuries. Their last outing was a difficult 2-1 loss to Walter Mazzarri’s Napoli, a result that leaves them 7th in Serie A.

Iván Fresneda and Daniel Braganca are both unavailable through injuries for Sporting, who suffered a frustrating 2-1 loss to rivals Benfica on the weekend, giving them extra motivation to respond in Bergamo.
