Less than six weeks after his arrival in France, Fabio Grosso is already fighting to keep his job with Olympique Lyon, reports suggest.

Local newspaper Le Progres via Calciomercato.com details how Lyon’s incredibly painful 2-1 loss to fellow relegation candidates Clermont on the weekend has further increased the pressure on the Italian coach, who has only managed to secure one point from his first four matches in charge.

Lyon’s next two games are against Gennaro Gattuso’s Olympique Marseille and another team struggling near the bottom of the table, FC Metz.

Failing to turn things around in these two games could be enough to see Grosso sent packing by the Ligue 1 strugglers, who are starting to look at serious risk of relegation.

Behind the scenes, things are not going well for Grosso. A leak from the dressing room recently revealed the firm disagreements between the Italian coach and a significant portion of the squad.

A few days ago, the 2006 World Cup winner interrupted a training session to confront the players, wanting to know who the mole was.
