Inter have reportedly made an approach for Feyenoord talent Santiago Gimenez, facing competition from Real Madrid, Tottenham Hotspur and Borussia Dortmund.

According to La Repubblica, the Mexico international centre-forward is open to the possibility of joining the Nerazzurri next summer.

However, there are considerable problems, including a €50m asking price for a player who just signed a new contract until June 2027.

There is also strong competition from other interested parties, such as Real Madrid, Tottenham and Borussia Dortmund.

Mexico international Gimenez had a remarkable start to the current campaign, scoring 12 goals in just eight Eredivisie matches, along with two assists.

He was purchased from Cruz Azul in 2022 for €6m and his value has already gone through the roof.

His move to Italy would be aided by having Italian citizenship.
