The Rossoneri look to get back to winning ways but these Milan vs. Veronapredictions suggest that it will be a tough game for the home side. Marco Baroni’s Verona have started the campaign well and will be keen to retain their position in the top half of the Serie A table.
1 – Milan to win – 2/5
2 – Over 2.5 goals scored – 4/5
3 – Both teams to score – 10/11
4 – Noah Okafor to score anytime – 8/5
5 – Luka Jovic to score anytime – 2/1
Games are coming thick and fast for Milan as they prepare for the visit of Verona to the San Siro on Saturday afternoon. The Rossoneri will be keen to secure a win following a heavy defeat at the hands of arch-rivals Inter last weekend.
Unfortunately for the hosts, they face a Verona side that have looked solid in the early stages of the season. Marco Baroni’s side have looked a far better attacking prospect in their opening four games and we back both teams to score this weekend.
Despite Milan’s poor result on Saturday, there are plenty of reasons for hope around the San Siro, with three wins in their opening three games. They have been particularly effective going forward and even in the crushing defeat to Inter, managed to score a goal.
Given the visitors have conceded in each of their last three games, fans could well be in for a high-scoring encounter on Saturday afternoon. Clashes between the two sides have tended to provide plenty of goals, with four per game on average over the past four meetings. A wager on over 2.5 goals scored at the San Siro this time around should, therefore, provide a solid bet.
With their midweek Champions League clash in mind, Stefano Pioli will undoubtedly be glad of his summer reinforcements. Milan were particularly focused on bringing in attacking players, with the likes of Samuel Chukwueze, Noah Okafor and Luka Jovic all signing in the final few weeks of the transfer window.
None of the trio have broken into the first team yet. But given the tight turnaround, Stefano Pioli may now hand debuts to his new arrivals. Fans have been particularly keen to see how Jovic or Okafor are able to perform in the place of Olivier Giroud, and there are solid odds on either of the two scoring against Verona.

Milan (4-3-3): Maignan; Calabria; Thiaw, Tomori, Hernandez; Pobega, Krunic, Loftus-Cheek; Chukwueze, Jovic, Okafor
Verona (3-4-2-1): Montipo; Magnani, Hien, Dawidowicz; Faraoni, Lazovic, Honga, Doig; Lazovic, Ngonge; Djuric
Stefano Pioli is expected to ring the changes following his team’s midweek Champions League fixture. Pierre Kalulu and Ismael Bennacer remain sidelined but starts could be given to the likes of Samuel Chukwueze and Luka Jovic.
Marco Baroni is likely to stick with a similar starting XI to Monday’s selection, with his only decision being whether to start Cyril Ngonge or Milan Djuric up front with Thomas Henry still sidelined.
