Paris Saint-Germain have released a video of a number of their former players paying tribute to Marco Verratti, who has left the Parc des Princes after an 11-year stay to join Qatari side Al-Arabi this summer.
Despite officially completing his move on Wednesday, the Italy international is back in Paris for PSG’s Ligue 1 clash against Nice, where he was honoured with an in-person farewell in front of the supporters prior to kick off.
Moments before Verratti spoke to the supporters in the ground, PSG released the following video to their social media channels, featuring six key players from Verratti’s time in France.
Those include former Juventus midfielder Blaise Matuidi, Ezequiel Lavezzi, current Bologna coach Thiago Motta, Javier Pastore, the recently retired Zlatan Ibrahimovic and former PSG captain Thiago Silva.
