Hirving Lozano is reportedly only a step away from returning to PSV after the terms of a deal were agreed with Napoli.

The 28-year-old Mexican winger only has 10 months left on his contract in the Campania capital and has not been offered a new deal, with the club ready to look to the future.

Lozano has been heavily linked with a move to the MLS, with multiple clubs interested in a move, but now he’s set to return to the Eredivisie after four years away.

As reported by Dutch journalist Rick Elfrink for Eindhovens Dagblad, PSV have agreed to sign Lozano from Napoli in a definitive transfer worth around €13-14m.

The Mexican winger has agreed to lower his €4.5m net per season wages in order to push through a return to the Eredivisie, where he found much success during his previous two-year spell.

During his first experience with PSV, Lozano scored 40 goals and provided 23 assists in 79 appearances across all competitions.
