There are reports that Napoli winger Hirving ‘Chucky’ Lozano could return to where he came from, as PSV Eindhoven have made an offer worth €15m.

According to Sky Sport Italia, the bid is €10m in cash plus another €5m in various add-ons.

It is considerably less than the €20-25m asking price that had been set by the Partenopei when they received interest from Major League Soccer club LAFC.

However, with less than a week to go before the transfer deadline, this is a more than appetising proposal for a player who is only under contract until the end of this season.

It would be a return to the Netherlands for Lozano, who first came to Europe for PSV Eindhoven in 2017 and remained for two years until his €45m transfer to Napoli.

The 28-year-old Mexico international is not part of new coach Rudi Garcia’s plans and seems unlikely to negotiate a new contract to stay at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona.
