After Ante Rebic was sold to Besiktas, Milan are now hoping to send Charles De Ketelaere to RC Lens in a deal worth €28m and field offers for Yacine Adli.
The Rossoneri have been snapping up new talents on the transfer market all summer after parting with directors Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara, but now need to make room by getting rid of their unwanted players.
Rebic was officially sold to Besiktas today, reportedly for €0.5m plus another €1.5m in performance-related bonuses, largely so they could save on his salary.
Now Tuttosport and RMC Sport suggest Racing Club de Lens have made an offer worth €28m for De Ketelaere.
The Belgium international failed to contribute a single goal in his debut season at San Siro and showed a worrying lack of confidence.
Milan paid €35.5m plus bonuses to get him from Club Brugge a year ago and included a 12 per cent cut of the sell-on fee too.
There is also interest from PSV Eindhoven, Aston Villa and RB Leipzig, but most of them want him on loan with an option to buy.
Another unwanted signing, midfielder Adli, is linked with Sevilla, Eintracht Frankfurt, Lille and Ajax.
Milan should allow this guy to stay. He’s a very talented player with fast and modern play skills. Last season he had a bad season because of the movement from lower league in Belgium to Italian league
He will pick up this season
