Manchester United have presented a verbal offer to Atalanta for talented striker Rasmus Hojlund, Fabrizio Romano highlights.

The 20-year-old Dane has attracted the attention of some of Europe’s top clubs following his impressive debut season with la Dea, who picked up the striker from Austrian side Sturm Graz for around €18m.

Hojlund was an exciting figure in Gian Piero Gasperini’s Atalanta squad last campaign, scoring 10 goals and providing four assists in 34 appearances across all competitions. He has netted six goals in six games for the Danish national team.

As reported by Romano, Manchester United have presented their first verbal offer to Atalanta for Hojlund, proposing a deal worth around €60m total – a €50m fixed fee with €10m in add-ons.

Recent media reports suggest that la Dea have been hoping for around €70-80m for the 20-year-old striker, who has already agreed personal terms with the Red Devils. Paris Saint-Germain haven’t yet given up on Hojlund but are not his preferred choice.
