Former Milan midfielder Franck Kessie is more likely to join a Premier League side than Juventus, claim reports in Spain, as Barcelona aren’t prepared to let him go on loan.
There have been suggestions in the Italian media over the last few days that the Bianconeri have identified Kessie as an ideal midfield reinforcement.
However, Mundo Deportivo are far less convinced that Barcelona or the Ivory Coast international are interested in a return to Italy for Juventus.
They maintain Juve would only take him on loan with an option to buy, which is not acceptable to a Barcelona side that desperately needs to raise money from player sales.
At the same time, Kessie is also keen on a new experience after spending most of his career in Italy with Atalanta, Cesena and Milan.
The Premier League is therefore the most likely option for Kessie, who joined the Blaugrana as a free agent from Milan in the summer of 2022.
