UEFA have announced today that Milan, Roma and Inter have met their Financial Fair Play obligations for the 2022-23 financial year.
Back in September of last year, the three clubs and Juventus all reached a multi-year settlement agreement with UEFA after failing to meet FFP obligations. All four were handed fines, but only paid small portions due to the terms of the settlement.
Milan paid €2m of a €15m fine, Juventus €3.5m out of €23m, Inter €4m out of €26m and Roma €5m out of €35m. The former two clubs have a three-year settlement agreement and the latter two a four-year agreement.
As announced by UEFA today, Milan, Roma and Inter have all met the terms of their individual settlement agreements, allowing them to move forward in the summer transfer market more calmly.
Juventus did not meet their targets amidst their various off-pitch issues, and are not expected to take part in the coming Conference League.
